A friend is a hand that is always holding yours, no matter how close or far apart you may be. A friend is someone who is always there and will always care. A friend is a feeling of forever in your heart. ♥.

Everybody thinks about going on an exchange as going on an adventure. You don't know what to expect, what to think. But it's a year full of learning, learning about people, about yourself. And the best part, the most important thing, are the people. The people you get to know and learn to love.
In my case, people from my school are not really interested in me. It's a big school with 20 exchange students each year, they don't really care anymore. But those, who understand you, are the other exchange students. I'm so lucky, that I got to go here, so I got to know all these wonderful people from all over the world, making new friends.
I "just" have 4 months, that may seem pretty long, but time flies so fast, it's unbelievable. I was looking forward to Halloween- gone, christmas- gone, changing hostfamilies- gone, spring break- gone, ... and all the trips and all these other things will be over too fast!!

I don't really know why I'm writing this, but I think it pretty much shows my feelings right now. Everything is kinda busy right now. I hear what's happening in Germany, I see what's happening here, I inform myself about stuff what's going on right now all over the world: Libya, Japan... (You hopefully know what I'm talking about.) It's all in my head, and sometimes it seems just so much. So much to be handled in my life, so much to think about what's happening somewhere else in the world.


It's a wonderful day today, the sun is shining, but it's really, really cold. So I'm gonna go for a little walk on the lakeside :)

I started a blog about a year ago, 'cause I wanted to write about my adventure, my exchange year in the US. But then, after a while...I just forget it. I experience all these different things, see so much stuff and get to know all these nice and different people.

But now, after all that time, I decided to start all over, after I talked to a dear friend of mine. I'm gonna blog whenever I feel like it, sometimes it may pass a little time until I post again. But however's reading this right now, please leave a comment, about how you think about this page, what you wanna see here or maybe not.
